“I move to enter an executive session”
Motion Passes
Closed session discussing confidential issue brought to Council by administration regarding conduct unbecoming of a council member. The decision made by council was acquittal.
Gender Motion
I move that Hanover High School implements the following rules and policies under Section 8 (HHS Student Policies and Responsibilities) in the student handbook under its own subsection titled “Gender Inclusivity” with the following subsections...
Authorship Speech: This is an important issue that needs to be addressed and Council is the perfect platform to bring these issues to light.
Purposely left Enforcement Section vague, only wants intervention if a person consistently refuses to call a student by their preferred gender pronouns.
As long as the school is ok with it, the NHIAA is ok with it.
Gender does not correspond to biological sex. It is the mind and identity, not anatomy.
“I move to discuss and vote on each heading of this motion as a separate motion”
