Weekend Homework Discussion
Weekend homework can take up to half of Saturday and all of Sunday
Teachers often “exploit” the no project over a long weekend rule by assigning large projects the week before and having it due when students return
Weekends should be a time to get a break from school
Students (esp. upperclassmen) often have many other commitments on weekends that they need to do (SAT prep, college visits, etc.)
Teachers are supposed to assign one night’s worth of homework over a weekend
